- 2 large onions
- some butter for frying
- 500 ml water
- n. B. Broth, granulated
- 200 g whipped cream
- 200 g cream cheese spread
- 4 tsp flour
- lots of dill
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Mix the minced meat with salt, pepper, garlic granules, 1 egg, some onions, and breadcrumbs. Now form meatballs (not too large). Fry the meatballs in a little butter until golden brown. Dice the onions, peel the cucumbers, and then cut them into pieces. Place them in a large pan and fry them in a little butter. Now for the broth, season 500 ml of water with broth powder, add the heavy cream. Add the prepared broth to the pan and deglaze the cucumbers with it. Add 200 g of cream cheese. Thicken slightly with 4 teaspoons of flour. Simmer briefly so that the cucumbers are soft. Season with salt, pepper, garlic granules, and plenty of dill. Add the meatballs to the pan and let them simmer for about 15 minutes. I recommend serving with rice; it goes very well with it.
