Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 fresh chicken, 1 kg or larger (or chicken legs if necessary)
- 1 can of tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3 onions
- 6 potatoes
- oil
- Salt
- pepper
- Paprika powder
Instructions

Cut the chicken into pieces, wash, and dry. Peel the potatoes and onions and cut into quarters, eighths, or slices. Clean the garlic, leaving the cloves whole. Sprinkle the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and paprika on all sides and let them rest. Place the chicken pieces in a roasting pan and sear them with a little oil. Then place the potatoes around the chicken pieces. After about 20-30 minutes, add the onions, garlic, and tomatoes without sauce, occasionally basting the chicken pieces with the oil from the roasting pan. Roast in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for 55 to 70 minutes, depending on the size of the chicken.
