A great recipe for using up leftover jam.

Put all the ingredients for the dough in a bowl and knead into a smooth dough. Then let the dough rise in a warm place for 30 minutes until it has doubled in size. Now flour the dough and the work surface and then place it on the baking sheet. Shape the dough into a rectangle and then roll it out to the size of a baking tray. Now spread the jam on the dough, leaving 2 cm free at the bottom. Once the jam is spread, roll the dough horizontally, from top to bottom. When you’re almost at the bottom, press the bottom side up against the roll to catch the jam that runs out. Next, grease a round springform pan and line it with baking paper, then cut the jam roll into 4 cm thick pieces and place them in the pan with the cut side facing up. If there is some space between the rolls, that’s okay, as they will close up during the proving and baking time. Now let the dough rolls rise in a warm place for 15 minutes and preheat the oven to 180°C fan/convection oven. Then bake everything for about 35 minutes (not 25 minutes as suggested in the video) and let the rolls cool in the pan. Enjoy baking! Alex from NatürlichLecker
