Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 large bell pepper(s)
  • 100 g cream
  • 1 cup cream cheese spread, 200 g
  • 250 g pasta, e.g. penne
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 tsp basil, dried
  • 1 tsp oregano, dried
  • 1 tsp spice mix, spaghetti seasoning, Italian
  • 1 pinch of chili powder
  • 2 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • Pinch(s) of salt and pepper
  • some oil
  • possibly milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Dice the peeled and deseeded bell peppers. Fry in a pan with a little oil. Finely chop or press the garlic. Add to the bell peppers and fry briefly. Meanwhile, cook the pasta in salted water according to the package instructions and drain in a sieve. Add the processed cheese, tomato paste, and cream to the bell peppers and stir until smooth. Bring to a boil briefly. If the sauce is too thick, add a little milk. Add the oregano, basil, spaghetti seasoning, and chili powder, and season with salt and pepper. Add the pasta to the sauce in the pan and mix everything well. Plate and serve.
