Juicy cheese spaetzle with peppers

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g Spätzle, fresh from the refrigerated section
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 200 ml water
  • 3 tbsp vegetable broth
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 200 g cheese, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Simple, vegetarian

Cut the bell peppers into strips and halve them. Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the spaetzle and bell peppers together in the oil until golden brown. Sprinkle half of the cheese on top. Turn the spaetzle and bell peppers over and sprinkle with the remaining cheese. Pour the water into the pan and heat until simmering. Add the vegetable stock and simmer for 5 minutes on level 2.
