Juicy Spaetzle Casserole
The perfect juicy spaetzle casserole recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 Kg Spaetzle / still had homemade TK
- 400 ml Creme fine or cream
- 150 g Sour cream 10% fat
- 4 Eggs
- 4 Freshly grated nutmeg
- 4 Black pepper from the mill
- 4 Herbal salt, see my KB
- 4 Garlic pepper, see my KB
- 4 Fleur de Sel sea salt
- 100 g Bacon cubes
- 100 g Roast smoked salmon, diced
- 200 g Grated Emmental
- Mix the spaetzle with diced bacon and smoked pork in a baking dish!
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees!
- Whisk fine cream, sour cream, eggs with the above spices in a liter cup and pour evenly over the spaetzle! Sprinkle with grated cheese!
- Approx. Bake for 30-40 minutes! Depending on what you want to tan! 🙂
