Juicy Spaetzle Casserole

The perfect juicy spaetzle casserole recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 Kg Spaetzle / still had homemade TK
  • 400 ml Creme fine or cream
  • 150 g Sour cream 10% fat
  • 4 Eggs
  • 4 Freshly grated nutmeg
  • 4 Black pepper from the mill
  • 4 Herbal salt, see my KB
  • 4 Garlic pepper, see my KB
  • 4 Fleur de Sel sea salt
  • 100 g Bacon cubes
  • 100 g Roast smoked salmon, diced
  • 200 g Grated Emmental
  1. Mix the spaetzle with diced bacon and smoked pork in a baking dish!

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees!

  1. Whisk fine cream, sour cream, eggs with the above spices in a liter cup and pour evenly over the spaetzle! Sprinkle with grated cheese!
  2. Approx. Bake for 30-40 minutes! Depending on what you want to tan! 🙂
  3. There was also a salad!
