Spinach – Spaetzle – Casserole

- 300 g Flour
- 4 Pc. Eggs
- 400 g Creamed spinach
- 200 g Ham cubes
- 250 ml Whipped cream
- 100 ml Natural carbonated mineral water
- 200 g Grated Gouda
- 1 Pc. Small onion
- Butter
- Salt
- Pepper from the grinder
- Nutmeg
- Sift the flour, mix the eggs, spinach, salt, nutmeg and mineral water and make a smooth dough. (The dough is best if it bubbles when stirring)
- Slice the spaetzle in slightly boiling salted water or give with a spaetzle grater. If they swim up, take them out and put them off.
- Finely dice the onion and sauté lightly in a little butter, add diced ham and a little pepper and fry lightly.
- Mix the spaetzle with the ham and onion mix, pour the cream over it and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 150 ° C top / bottom heat for about 15 minutes.
