Spinach – Spaetzle – Casserole

  • 300 g Flour
  • 4 Pc. Eggs
  • 400 g Creamed spinach
  • 200 g Ham cubes
  • 250 ml Whipped cream
  • 100 ml Natural carbonated mineral water
  • 200 g Grated Gouda
  • 1 Pc. Small onion
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • Nutmeg
  1. Sift the flour, mix the eggs, spinach, salt, nutmeg and mineral water and make a smooth dough. (The dough is best if it bubbles when stirring)
  2. Slice the spaetzle in slightly boiling salted water or give with a spaetzle grater. If they swim up, take them out and put them off.
  3. Finely dice the onion and sauté lightly in a little butter, add diced ham and a little pepper and fry lightly.
  4. Mix the spaetzle with the ham and onion mix, pour the cream over it and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 150 ° C top / bottom heat for about 15 minutes.
