Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 750 g potatoes
- 1 can corn kernels
- 300 g meat sausage
- 100 g bacon, sliced
- 250 g quark (20% fat)
- 80 g cheese of your choice, grated
- 3 eggs
- 2 bunches of chives
- 2 bell peppers, red
- 50 g semolina
- 1 onion(s)
- Salt
- breadcrumbs
- pepper
- marjoram
- Oil for frying
- Butter for the mold
- 1 bell pepper(s), green
Instructions
Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Boil the potatoes with their skins on, then peel and slice. Drain the corn. Clean the bell peppers and cut them into small pieces along with the sausage. Peel the onion and dice it finely. Cut the bacon into strips. Fry the onion in 3-4 tablespoons of oil until golden brown. Add the sausage, bacon, pieces of bell pepper, and corn. Fry briefly, then season with marjoram and let cool. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Cut the chives into small rolls. Beat the eggs until frothy. Mix the quark with the eggs, semolina, chives, and the sausage mixture, season with salt and pepper. Grease a baking dish with butter, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, and line with half of the potatoes. Spread the sausage mixture on top, then cover with the remaining potato slices. Sprinkle the casserole with cheese and bake in the oven for about 40 minutes.
