Ingredients

  • 30 g Sugar
  • 30 g Melted butter
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 70 g Sifted flour
  • 70 g Ground almonds
  • 50 g Sliced almonds
  • 3 Eggs

Instructions

  • Separate the eggs. Beat the egg yolks with sugar and stir in the flour, ground almonds and milk. Then fold in the butter. Beat the egg white until stiff and fold in.
  • Heat some oil in a pan and add the dough (1cm high). Bake carefully and sprinkle a few sliced almonds on the still raw surface. Then when the surface is firm, turn it over and bake it golden. Tear it up to create the typical Kaiserschmarrn shape. Finished!
  • As a decoration you can sprinkle almonds on top. I like homemade fruit sauce or fruits. Also sweet with Nutella or simply sweetened.
