Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg sauerkraut
- 1 kg smoked pork
- 1 bag of pasta (croissants)
- 1 cup of sweet cream
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 liter of broth
- 3 eggs
- n. B. cheese, grated
- e.g. butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Dice the smoked pork and sear in a pan. Then add the squeezed and chopped sauerkraut and sauté briefly. Meanwhile, mix the meat broth with the cream and eggs. Pour the uncooked pasta into a buttered, ovenproof casserole dish. Then add the sauerkraut and smoked pork. Then pour the broth over the pasta. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for about 30 minutes. Just before the pasta is cooked, sprinkle the cheese over the pasta and bake for a further time until the cheese is nicely browned. Serve immediately.
