Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 drops of bitter almond flavor
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g hazelnuts, very coarsely chopped
  • 3 tbsp condensed milk
  • 100 g hazelnuts, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Total time approx. 6 hours 30 minutes

Knead the first 8 ingredients into a dough. Form into approximately 2.5 cm thick rolls, brush with condensed milk, and roll in the hazelnuts. Refrigerate overnight or freeze. Cut the very cold rolls into approximately 1/2 cm thick slices with a sharp knife and place on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 175-200°C for 10-15 minutes.
