Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g flour
- 4 eggs
- 100 ml mineral water (sparkling)
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp, heaped quark, 20%
- some butter
- Maggi

the favorite food in our family, whether dad, grandpa or grandma, everyone loves it
Combine the flour, eggs, quark, salt, and sparkling water in a bowl and beat with a wooden spoon like spaetzle dough. Let rest. Meanwhile, bring water to a boil in a large pot and add salt. Briefly beat the dough again until smooth. Now, using a teaspoon, drop small dumplings into the boiling salted water until all the dough is used up. Important: Only fill the teaspoon with batter at most halfway. After a few minutes, drain the dumplings. Place the dumplings in a bowl. Heat the butter until melted. Add a few dashes of Maggi seasoning—very important for flavor—and then pour it over the dumplings. Serve with apple sauce and fried potatoes.
