Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g Spätzle (Knöpfle) from the refrigerated section
- 1 onion(s), finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove(s), squeezed
- 4 tomatoes, peeled, diced
- 400 g sauerkraut, mild, pre-cooked
- 100 ml cream or Cremefine
- 50 g Parmesan, grated
- 1 tbsp broth, granulated
- Spice mix, Italian
- Caraway seeds
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Sauté the onion and garlic in oil. Add the dumplings and fry. Stir in the diced tomatoes and seasonings. Add the sauerkraut and let everything simmer for about 5 minutes. Then stir in the cream and cheese and serve.
