Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 packets of dry yeast
  • ½ liter of milk
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tbsp margarine
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Lard or oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar, for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Combine flour, sugar, and salt. Make a well in the center and sprinkle in the yeast. Pour lukewarm milk over the dough, add the softened margarine, vanilla sugar, eggs, and oil, and mix well. Let it rise in a warm place for one hour. Heat lard or oil in a saucepan. Briefly dip a tablespoon into the hot oil (to prevent the dough from sticking), then take a small amount of dough and drop it into the oil. Fry the doughnut until it’s nicely browned. Drain on kitchen paper and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
