Kritharaki with sprats

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g Kritharaki (rice-shaped noodles)
  • 2 cans of sprats
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red, yellow or orange
  • ½ tsp pepper, green, pickled
  • Salt
  • Lemon pepper
  • 1 dashes lemon juice
  • possibly rapeseed oil or sunflower oil
  • possibly chopped dill for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Cook kritharaki according to the instructions or as usual until al dente. Dice the bell pepper into approximately 0.5 cm pieces. Place the kritharaki, the sprats (including their juices), and the diced bell peppers in alternating layers in a bowl. Season the layers and add oil if desired. Mix gently (to prevent the sprats from crumbling too much). Season to taste and garnish.
