Lamb As We Like It
The perfect lamb as we like it recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 700 g Lamb
- Salt
- Pepper
- Paprika spice
- 2 Onions
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 6 Juniper berry
- 4 Allspice grains
- 2 Stems Rosemary
- 300 ml Sour cream
- 400 ml Lamb stock
- Wash the lamb, pat dry, rub with salt, pepper and paprika.
- Heat some fat in a roaster and sear the meat on all sides, remove.
- Peel the onion and garlic into thin slices and fry them in the roaster until translucent.
- Now add the sour cream and reduce it until a brown brew is obtained.
- Put the roast back in the roaster with the lamb stock, add the spices.
- Now put it in the warm oven and cover it for about 2 hours.
- Remove the meat and let it rest for a while, strain the sauce through a sieve and season it if necessary and who would like to thicken something with cornstarch.
- Cut the meat into slices and serve on a plate with boiled potatoes, beans and sauce
