Lamb Meatloaf for Two …

The perfect lamb meatloaf for two … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Minced dough:

  • 250 g Lamb minced meat
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tablespoon Breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Cream
  • 1 small Chopped onion
  • 1 half Garlic clove chopped
  • 1 quarter teaspoon Salt
  • 1 quarter teaspoon Seasoned pepper
  • 1 quarter teaspoon Chilli flakes
  • 1 quarter teaspoon Dried rosemary
  • 1 half a teaspoon Herbs of Provence
  • 1 half a teaspoon Sweet paprika

Also:

  • 2 size White cabbage leaves
  • 2 Discs Black Forest ham
  • 40 g Branded butter
  • Seasoned pepper
  • Rosemary fresh
  1. Make a minced dough from the ingredients listed and let it rest for about 15 minutes. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. During this time, grease a small oven dish and place a slice of ham in it. Then put a white cabbage leaf over it, that is: line the mold with it. Shape the dough into an elongated loaf and place in the cabbage bed; cover with the second sheet and place the second slice of ham with the rosemary tips on top.
  3. Cover the roast with flakes of butter, sprinkle everything with pepper and then bake in the stove for about 50 minutes until golden brown. Time enough to make side dishes of your choice.
  4. I served my lamb meatloaf with a hearty leek and potato dumplings.
