Lamb yogurt casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g lamb from the leg
  • oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 250 g onion(s)
  • 250 g tomatoes, peeled or from the can
  • 2 cups of natural yogurt, 150g each
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cloves garlic

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Dice the meat and sear it vigorously in hot fat. Season with salt and pepper. Pour in 1/8 liter of water and simmer in a covered pan for about 30 minutes. Peel and slice the onions. Sauté in a little oil until translucent. Place the onion rings in a greased baking dish. Arrange the meat and tomato pieces on top. Mix the yogurt with the eggs and crushed garlic, season with salt and pepper, and pour over the meat. Bake in a preheated oven at 225°C for about 20 minutes.
