Lavender lemonade

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ¼ liter water, still
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 lemon(s), for large ones one is enough
  • 4 tbsp lavender
  • 1 ¾ liters of carbonated mineral water, chilled

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 15 minutes

for about 2 liters of lemonade

Bring the still water and sugar to a boil and simmer until the sugar has completely dissolved. Remove the sugar syrup from the heat, add the lemon juice and lavender blossoms, and let it cool. Strain the cold syrup through a sieve and refrigerate. Just before serving, pour the syrup and sparkling water into a pitcher and garnish with lavender sprigs. Tip: If you bottle it in small bottles and serve it with a straw and a lavender sprig, it’s a lovely party idea; it’s always a hit with me.
