Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 3 slices of Leberkäse
- 1 stalk(s) leek
- 400 g pasta
- 400 ml meat broth, clear
- 3 tbsp cream cheese
- 4 tbsp sour cream
- 2 tbsp mustard
- some sauce thickener
- salt and pepper
- Spice(s) to taste
- 1 shot of vinegar
- some cheese for topping, if desired
- Fat for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cook the pasta in salted water and drain. Dice the meatloaf and fry in a pan with a little fat. Finely slice the leek and add it to the meatloaf, frying briefly. Deglaze with broth. Stir in the cream cheese, sour cream, and mustard. Add the pasta. Stir in the sauce thickener until the sauce reaches the desired consistency. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and spices. Finally, stir in a dash of vinegar for a slightly tart flavor. I’ve also topped this dish with cheese several times, and it tastes great too!
