Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g Leberkäse, diced
  • 500 g mushrooms, diced
  • 3 bell peppers, colored, diced
  • 2 onions, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, diced
  • 2 cups of crème fraîche
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • curry powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Fry the onions until golden brown. Add the garlic during the last few minutes. Stir in the paprika at the end and set everything aside. Fry the meatloaf and mushrooms in oil. Then add the onions, garlic, and paprika and sauté over low heat for 5-10 minutes. Stir in the crème fraîche and season with spices. Simmer gently for another 15 minutes. Mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta are good accompaniments.
