Leberkäse and Vegetable Pan

The perfect leberkäse and vegetable pan recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Meatloaf
  • 2 Pc. Onion
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 250 g Mushrooms
  • 2 Pc. Red pepper
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 500 ml Vegetable or beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 4 Pc. Pickled cucumbers and 2 tablespoons of cucumber water
  • 1 small can Corn
  • Salt pepper
  • 1 tsp Shish kebab spice or z. B. Mexican meat seasoning
  1. Dice the meat loaf. Peel and finely chop the onions. Cut the mushrooms into slices, the peppers into strips or cubes.
  2. Melt the butter in a pan and fry the meat loaf and onions in it. Add the mushrooms and peppers. Add tomato paste and roast briefly. Dust with the flour and then deglaze with the stock. Let simmer for a few minutes.
  3. Add the sweet chilli sauce, ketchup and cucumber water. Season with salt, pepper and shashlik spice. Finely dice the pickles and add them together with the drained corn and heat in the sauce.
