Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
Peel and wash the potatoes and cook in salted water. Drain and mash with margarine and milk. Season with salt and nutmeg. Place the mashed potatoes in a casserole dish. Wash and slice the leek. Slice the onion. Heat the oil in a non-stick pan and fry the onions. Add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Add the leek and a little water and cook for about 10-15 minutes. Season generously with salt, pepper, and a little nutmeg. Drain the leek and minced meat mixture and pour it over the mashed potatoes. Sprinkle with grated Gouda cheese and bake for about 20-25 minutes in a preheated oven at about 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit) (you may need to turn the temperature down a bit). When the cheese is slightly crispy, serve and enjoy.
