Leek in minced meat sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 m.-large leek(s)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 400 g Mett (minced meat)
  • 1 gr. can/n tomatoes (850 ml)
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 garlic clove(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the cleaned and washed leeks into 2-3 equal pieces each. Cook in salted water for about 10 minutes. Heat oil in a pan and fry the minced meat until crumbly. Then add the crushed garlic and sauté briefly. Add the tomatoes, chop slightly, and bring to a boil. Drain the leeks, add them to the minced meat, and simmer gently for another 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with mashed potatoes.
