Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800 g leek
  • 600 g minced beef
  • 1 onion(s) (vegetable onion)
  • 200 g cream cheese spread
  • 200 g processed cheese with herbs
  • ¾ liter vegetable broth
  • 200 ml cream
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the trimmed and sliced ​​leek in the broth for 10 minutes. Heat the oil in a pan, fry the minced meat until crumbly, add the diced onion, season generously with the spices, and simmer with the lid on for about 10 minutes. Then let it cool slightly. Now add the chopped cheese and cream, along with the minced meat, to the leek, and simmer for another 5 minutes, stirring, until the cheese has melted. Season to taste with the spices. I always serve this with baguette or bread rolls. Whole-grain bread is also an option if you prefer.
