Leek rice stew with curry

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 3 stalk(s) leeks, cut into rings
  • 500 g bratwurst, raw or minced meat
  • 150 g rice
  • 1 tbsp clarified butter
  • e.g. vegetable broth
  • salt and pepper
  • curry powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Form the sausage meat or ground beef into balls. Brown the sausage meat balls vigorously in the hot clarified butter. Add the rice and sauté. Add the well-washed leek to the balls and rice mixture and stir well. Pour in the vegetable stock and season with salt, pepper, and plenty of curry powder. Simmer until the rice is tender. My tip: In a pressure cooker, the stew is ready in just a few minutes.
