Ingredients
- 500 g Spelt flour + something to dust
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 tsp Dry yeast
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Brown sugar
- 4 tbsp Milk
- 6 tbsp Oil
- 30 g Garlic cloves pressed
- In THE ORIGInAL InDIAN RECIPE, 200G KNOBI WERE SPECIFIED!
- Taken ONLY 30G AND WAS ALWAYS TOO MUCH! 😀
Instructions
- Mix the flour, salt and dry yeast. Mix the egg, sugar and milk. Knead everything together and add just enough water to make a soft bread dough!
Preheat oven to 220 degrees!
- Cover dough ideally for 2 hours, leave it in one place! It can also be shorter!
- Put flour on the work surface! Spread the dough on top and divide into 6 parts! Pull each part into an elongated flatbread and press a little.
- Brush the underside of the flatbreads with 2 tablespoons of oil and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Mix the pressed garlic with 4 tablespoons of oil and spread on the tops of the flatbreads!
- Bake in a preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes!
- Goes well with Subz Khara Masala (Indian vegetable stew) from my KB! See image!
