Lehsuni Naan

The perfect lehsuni naan recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Spelled flour + something to dust
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tsp Dry yeast
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp Milk
  • 6 tbsp Oil
  • 30 g Garlic cloves pressed
  • In THE ORIGInAL InDIAN RECIPE, 200G KNOBI WERE SPECIFIED!
  • Taken ONLY 30G AND WAS ALWAYS TOO MUCH! 😀
  1. Mix the flour, salt and dry yeast. Mix the egg, sugar and milk. Knead everything together and add just enough water to make a soft bread dough!

Preheat oven to 220 degrees!

  1. Cover dough ideally for 2 hours, leave it in one place! It can also be shorter!
  2. Put flour on the work surface! Spread the dough on top and divide into 6 parts! Pull each part into an elongated flatbread and press a little.
  3. Brush the underside of the flatbreads with 2 tablespoons of oil and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  4. Mix the pressed garlic with 4 tablespoons of oil and spread on the tops of the flatbreads!
  5. Bake in a preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes!
  6. Goes well with Subz Khara Masala (Indian vegetable stew) from my KB! See image!
