Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 200 g rice (long grain rice)
- ¼ liter chicken broth or vegetable broth
- ⅛ liter of water
- ¼ tsp salt
- 30 g Parmesan, freshly grated
- 1 tsp lemon(s) – zest, grated
- ¼ tsp black pepper, freshly ground
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Bring the rice, chicken or vegetable stock, water, and salt to a boil in a saucepan over high heat. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer for approximately 18-20 minutes, until the rice is tender and the liquid has absorbed. Stir in the Parmesan cheese, grated lemon zest, and pepper. Serve hot.
