Lemon Scones

- 1 tbsp Baking powder
- 0,5 tsp Salt
- 120 g Butter
- 50 g Sugar
- 0,125 l Milk
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp Lemon zest
- 200 g Powdered sugar
- Lemon juice
- Mix the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a bowl. Add the butter in small flakes and mix with your fingers to form a sandy dough.
- Whisk the milk with the egg and lemon zest and add to the flour-butter mixture and knead everything into a smooth dough.
- Shape the dough into two balls, press them flat and roll out a little and then cut into wedges. Place these on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 12-15 minutes until the surface is lightly browned.
- Mix the icing sugar with a little lemon juice to a thick icing and spread this on the scones.
