Lettuce with sorrel

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ½ lettuce(s), optional
  • 6 leaves of blood sorrel
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil, maybe a little more
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar, rosé, e.g. from Rewe Feine Welt

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

very tasty and healthy

Wash the lettuce and tear it into pieces. Remove any ribs. Roughly chop the sorrel. Add the remaining ingredients and mix. The rosé balsamic vinegar from Rewe Feine Welt has a sweet taste, which pairs well with the slight acidity of the sorrel. You can, of course, use another sweet vinegar. My oven-baked chicken thighs go perfectly with this as a low-carb meal.
