Lettuce with tuna

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ½ large lettuce(s)
  • 1 can tuna in its own juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • some salt and pepper
  • a few stalks of garlic or chives or 1 small onion
  • 5 tbsp dark balsamic vinegar, more if needed

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Low-carb meal, simple and delicious

Drain the tuna and place it in a bowl. Break it up a bit with a fork. Add salt, pepper, and balsamic vinegar. I usually use more balsamic vinegar, as the tuna absorbs a lot. Wash and tear the lettuce into small pieces, and add it to the bowl. Finely chop a few garlic leaves, or chives or a small onion, and add it as well. Finally, pour the oil over it and mix everything together. Without bread, it’s a low-carb (evening) meal. Otherwise, baguette is a great alternative.
