Light White Wine Sauce

The perfect light white wine sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Onions
  • 1 Garlic
  • 1 bottle White wine dry
  • 1 Teaspoon (level) Curry powder
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper from the grinder
  • 500 ml Liquid cream
  • 1 piece Ginger
  • Butter
  • Oil

Sweating

  1. Chop the onions, garlic and ginger into small pieces. Sweat in a butter-oil mixture. Add curry powder.

Boiling down

  1. Add white wine in small portions and reduce almost completely. Then fill up again. Repeat this process until the ingredients are cooked very soft.

Make it creamy

  1. Top up with cream and reduce further.

To taste

  1. Salt and pepper.

Frothing

  1. Mix up with the hand blender.
