Light White Wine Sauce
The perfect light white wine sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Onions
- 1 Garlic
- 1 bottle White wine dry
- 1 Teaspoon (level) Curry powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper from the grinder
- 500 ml Liquid cream
- 1 piece Ginger
- Butter
- Oil
Sweating
- Chop the onions, garlic and ginger into small pieces. Sweat in a butter-oil mixture. Add curry powder.
Boiling down
- Add white wine in small portions and reduce almost completely. Then fill up again. Repeat this process until the ingredients are cooked very soft.
Make it creamy
- Top up with cream and reduce further.
To taste
- Salt and pepper.
Frothing
- Mix up with the hand blender.
