Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 cup wild rice
- 2 ½ cups water
- 1 lime(s), juice
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Soak the wild rice in water for 2 hours, then bring to a boil. Simmer with the juice of one lime, salt, and pepper for 35 minutes, then let stand for another 5 minutes. If you like, you can also mix whole-grain risotto into the wild rice.
