Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 bell peppers, green and red (600g)
- 2 onions
- 2 cloves garlic
- oil
- 250 g rice (long grain rice)
- 1 jar white wine
- 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
- 1 can of tomato paste
- ½ liter of water, hot
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Clean, wash, dry, and thinly slice the bell peppers. Peel and chop the onion and garlic (amount as desired). Heat the oil in a pan, add the onion, garlic, and bell peppers. Sauté for 10 minutes. Wash the rice until the water runs clear. Drain well. Add to the pan and sauté briefly. Pour in the white wine, stir in the bell pepper and tomato paste. Heat for 5 minutes, stirring, then add the water. Season generously with salt and let simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Season with pepper. Serve with a lettuce or mixed salad and a light white wine.
