Liquorice liqueur '7 out of 100'

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 35 candies (Original Danish salmiak candies ‘Turkish Pepper’, for adults only)
  • 500 ml vodka, Russian, approx. 38%

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Only these ingredients ensure the liqueur quality

There are no suggested substitutions for either ingredient, as otherwise the excellent quality of the liqueur cannot be guaranteed. The liqueur batch requires a multiplier. In the recipe above, 5 is the multiplier, meaning ‘7 to 100′ has already been multiplied by 5 to ’35 to 500’. Try not to go below this batch size because it is also the easiest to handle. Take 200 ml from a 700 ml vodka bottle and add 35 candies. Crush any that are too big. The liqueur is almost ready. Place the bottle in the freezer and shake every hour, so the liqueur is ready to drink after one day! It should also be drunk at this temperature, from a chilled glass, as this is the only way its quality and effect can truly develop. Enjoy 2-3 glasses after a hearty meal and any stomach problems that may arise will simply be washed away. You’ll surely find other opportunities to indulge in this treat!
