Little Strawberry Delights
The perfect little strawberry delights recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 100 g Flour 550
- 1,5 teaspoon Baking powder
- 2 Eggs
- 100 g Butter
- 100 g Ground almonds
- 100 g Sugar
- 2 drops Baking flavor butter / vanilla
- Some Milk
- Fresh strawberries
- Breadcrumbs for the mold
- Make a creamy mixture from butter (as soft as possible), eggs and sugar
- Mix flour with baking powder and stir into the creamy mixture
- Always check the firmness of the dough from time to time, it should not become too firm. If this is the case, add a little milk
- Lift the ground almonds under the finished dough – add some milk again if necessary
- Grease the cake base with a little butter, sprinkle on the breadcrumbs and shake a little so that the breadcrumbs spread over the whole form. This should help the cake loosen later. (Tip from my grandpa, he was a baker)
- Pour in the dough and bake for 15 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 ° C
- In the meantime, clean the strawberries and cut them into small pieces
- Let the cake base cool on a wire rack
- Cover the floor with strawberries
- Since it was a quick decision for us to bake this cake, I couldn’t sugar the strawberries so that they can pull juice for the icing. A finished icing had to serve. But I kept a few strawberries, pureed them and under the then covered the strawberries with the hot icing
