Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 2 onions, red
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 tsp jam (wild berry)
- 8 slices of baguette
- veal liver sausage
- Thyme
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Peel the onion and slice it into rings. Bring the balsamic vinegar, water, and jam to a boil. Add the onion and cook for 1-2 minutes, then season with salt and pepper. Toast the baguette slices, spread with veal liver sausage, and serve garnished with onion rings and thyme leaves.
