Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • olive oil
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 400 ml chicken stock
  • ½ tsp fish sauce, concentrated
  • 1 ½ tsp lobster paste
  • 200 g cream
  • 1 pinch caraway seeds, whole
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp chili pepper(s), dried, crushed
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel and finely chop the onion, then sauté it in a pan with olive oil until translucent. Deglaze with the chicken stock and reduce by 1/3. Add the lobster paste and continue to simmer. Then add the cream, fish sauce, caraway seeds, and bay leaves. Reduce by another 1/3 and season with salt, pepper, and chili. Pairs well with rice or noodles with crab.
