Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 tbsp oil (peanut oil)
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 500 g tomatoes, pureed
  • 140 g tomato paste, 2 times concentrated
  • 1 tbsp mustard seeds
  • 6 tbsp balsamic vinegar, dark (cream)
  • 10 drops of sweetener (Stevia syrup)
  • 1 tsp flavoring (smoke flavoring)
  • salt and pepper
  • chili powder
  • cumin

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Heat the peanut oil in a pan. Finely chop the onion and fry briefly. Add the finely chopped or pressed garlic cloves. Stir in the passata and tomato paste. If the sauce is too thick, add half a glass of water. Crush the mustard seeds and blend them with the vinegar in the sauce. Then drizzle in the stevia syrup, add a pinch of cumin, and season the sauce with salt, pepper, and chili. Once it starts to boil, remove from the heat and let it cool briefly. Finally, stir in the smoke flavoring and let it cool completely.
