Low-carb zucchini hot dogs

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 m.-large zucchini
  • 8 small sausages
  • e.g. tomato ketchup
  • n. B. fried onions
  • n. B. Cheese, grated
  • 3 small gherkins

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Wash the zucchini, trim the ends, cut them in half, and cut them in half to create 8 halves. Hollow them out and spread them with ketchup. Place the sausages inside, sprinkle with fried onions and chopped cucumbers. Sprinkle with cheese and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes. Note: This hot dog isn’t particularly spicy, so feel free to add more seasoning to taste.
