Lukewarm leeks

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 stalk(s) leeks
  • 1 tbsp vinegar (red wine vinegar)
  • 3 tbsp oil (sunflower oil)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

French entrée

Halve the leek, cut a slit lengthwise, and wash it. Then sauté it in a little water until soft. Mix the vinegar with salt and pepper, then add the oil and stir well. Drain the leek, arrange it on plates, and drizzle with the vinaigrette. Serve lukewarm. A perfect starter for a French meal. A simple farmer’s recipe from the Pays de la Loire.
