Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 m.-sized eggs
  • 100 g margarine
  • ¼ liter milk, lukewarm
  • 600 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • e.g. raisins

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm milk. Place in a bowl with the sugar, salt, and eggs. Add the flour and mix. Finally, knead in the margarine and knead into a smooth dough. Let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Knead thoroughly again and divide into pieces weighing about 150 grams. Roll the pieces into balls and flatten them. Cut each piece halfway down the center and fold them forward to form ears. Use raisins to make eyes and a nose. Bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Let it cool on a wire rack.
