Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g flour
- ½ tsp, leveled baking powder
- 75 g sugar
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 125 g butter
- 3 egg whites
- 175 g sugar
- 1 pinch of cinnamon
- 200 g ground almonds
- 2 drops flavoring (bitter almond)
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
Make a dough from the first ingredients and chill for 1 hour. For the macaroon mixture, beat the egg whites until stiff. Gradually stir in the sugar. Fold in the remaining ingredients. Cut out small, round circles from the dough and place them on a baking sheet. Fill the macaroon mixture into a piping bag and pipe small circles onto the cut-out cookies using a serrated nozzle. Bake in a preheated oven at 180-200°C for about 10 minutes.
