Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g tagliatelle pasta
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 100 g butter, melted
  • 200 g quark
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 50 g almonds, ground
  • 4 egg whites
  • Fat for the mold
  • Butter flakes for sprinkling

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 55 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Cook the pasta and let cool. Beat the egg yolks until frothy, then slowly add the sugar, beating well. Then mix in the melted butter, quark, and cream. Mix the pasta with the mixture and half of the almonds. Fold in the beaten egg whites. Sprinkle a greased baking dish with the remaining almonds and fill with the sweet pasta. Distribute the butter pieces on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 45 minutes. Serve the magic pasta warm. Serve with applesauce.
