Vegan Snickers: The preparation

Allow enough time to prepare the “Snickers”. Because the bars have to be in the freezer for three to four hours in between.

  1. First line the mold with parchment paper.
  2. Next, mix all the ingredients for the base in a stand mixer until you have a smooth batter. Then press the mass evenly into the mold.
  3. Now add all the ingredients for the caramel, except the peanuts, to your blender. Blend them into a smooth mass.
  4. Then fold the peanuts into the caramel and spread the mixture evenly over the “Snickers” base.
  5. Now place the mold in the freezer for 3 to 4 hours.
  6. Melt the dark couverture together with the coconut oil over a water bath.
  7. Take the “Snickers” out of the freezer. Using a sharp kitchen knife, cut the mixture into 8 bars. Tip: Cut them about 1 inch wide so all the bars are the same size.
  8. Using a fork, dip each bar into the melted chocolate. Then place them on parchment paper to harden.
  9. Then keep the finished “Snickers” in a plastic storage container in the fridge.
