Bake Turkish pizza, tastes simply delicious and is very easy to make, 12 – 14 servings
First, prepare the yeast dough. Dissolve the yeast and sugar in lukewarm water. Then, add half of the flour and mix thoroughly. Next, add the oil, salt, and the remaining flour. Knead the dough until it looks nice and smooth. It should still be slightly sticky. Cover with a damp kitchen towel and let it rise for 1.5 hours. During this time, you can prepare the vegetable and meat paste for the topping. Clean and roughly chop the vegetables and parsley, then blend them. Mix the vegetable mixture with the spices and ground meat and refrigerate until ready to use. After the rising time, shape the dough into 12-14 equal-sized balls and place them on a floured baking sheet. Let the dough rise for another half hour. To prevent a dry skin from forming, cover it with cling film. During this time, preheat the oven to 220-230°C (top/bottom heat) along with a baking sheet. After the second rising time, roll out the dough balls thinly and spread with the paste. Make sure to apply the paste very thinly. The lahmacun are then baked one at a time. Baking time is approximately 6-8 minutes. Every oven is different, so keep an eye on it. Makes 12-14 servings.
