Instructions
- Soak the mussels. Use scissors to cut off the seaweed on the mussels. Dispose of open mussels!
- Heat the olive oil with the bay leaves in a tall saucepan. Put the clean mussels in the pan.
- Halve the tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Place on the mussels. Close the pot with a lid.
- Cook / steam the mussels until they open.
- Place the tomatoes on a plate and drain the mussels.
- Spread the mussels on plates. Dispose of clams that are still closed !! Garnish with the steamed tomato halves.
