Ingredients
 

  • 75 Pc. Fresh mussels
  • 5 Pc. Tomatoes
  • Olive oil
  • Bay leaves
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Soak the mussels. Use scissors to cut off the seaweed on the mussels. Dispose of open mussels!
  • Heat the olive oil with the bay leaves in a tall saucepan. Put the clean mussels in the pan.
  • Halve the tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Place on the mussels. Close the pot with a lid.
  • Cook / steam the mussels until they open.
  • Place the tomatoes on a plate and drain the mussels.
  • Spread the mussels on plates. Dispose of clams that are still closed !! Garnish with the steamed tomato halves.
