Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 15 organic tangerines, squeezed (use the juice for another purpose)
  • 400 g rock sugar
  • 700 ml vodka
  • 1 vanilla pod(s), scraped (use the seeds for another purpose)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest period approx. 90 days; Total time approx. 90 days 15 minutes

Using leftovers from squeezed organic mandarins

Place the juiced organic mandarins, vanilla bean, and rock sugar into a sufficiently large container. Fill with vodka until completely covered. Let the mixture steep for at least 3 months, then strain and bottle. The longer the liqueur matures, the better it tastes. This recipe is expressly designed for using up leftover organic mandarins; the juice is not needed.
