Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 mango(s), ripe
- ½ papaya
- 1 small red chili pepper(s)
- 1 lime(s), untreated
- some oil
- 2 stalk(s) spring onion(s)
- possibly rice, cooked
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
with rice also very good as a main course
Finely chop the chili and mix with the lime zest. Juice the lime and stir it in with a little oil. Finely chop the spring onions. Peel the mango, remove the pit, and dice it. Carefully remove the black seeds from the papaya with a spoon. Peel the fruit and dice it. Mix everything in a large bowl, stir in the dressing, and let it sit for about an hour. The salad is very fruity, refreshing, and perfect for the hot season. Served with rice, it also makes a wonderful main course.
