Marianne Style Potato Salad
The perfect marianne style potato salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 kg It is best to buy potatoes directly from the farmer
- 1 Cucumber
- 2 Onions
- 0,25 l Homemade chicken broth, here we still had broth from the guinea fowl
- 5 El Vinegar
- Salt to taste
- 0,25 Tl Sugar
- 1 El Medium hot mustard
- 4 El Rapeseed oil
- 1 bunch Chives
- Freshly ground pepper
- Boil potatoes in their skins
- Cut the cucumber into very thin slices
- Bring the stock with vinegar, salt, sugar and chopped onions to the boil briefly and mix with the mustard and oil
- When the potatoes are cooked, peel them and cut them into slices and add them to the cold brew. Fold in the cucumber slices as well. Scatter the freshly ground pepper over it and stir. With this broth, the salad tastes really delicious. I wouldn’t use a finished product for this recipe. Let it steep for at least 1 hour. Serve with chopped chives.
- “Marianne’s way, because I ate this potato salad at Marianne’s for the first time and was very enthusiastic”
